Our Instructors & Staff Members

Our Instructors have spent many years devoted to training in the art of Taekwondo and other martial arts and have attained a certain level of expertise to qualify them as teachers and also mentors.

Through extensive testing, certification and tournament level competition, our staff has attained mastery in this martial art and now enjoy sharing their skill and passing it on to their students. Here are a few of Dyer's Karate's instructors and other staff members, starting with Chris Dyer:

Chris Dyer  (4th Dan/Master Instructor)  Chris Dyer has numerous credentials and accomplishments. We will be updating this section shortly to detail them.

Diane Koslosky  (Office Manager)  Behind every great man, is an even greater woman. Ms. Diane is that woman. She helps to keep it all together. She is a hard worker, but most of all, very supportive. Beside saying yes to me at my request to spend her life with me, she has given me love and the greatest gift of all, life. Our 4 beautiful children. Alexis (15), MacKenzie (8), Dominique (6), and our son, Chris Jr.(4) She works twice as hard, helping to keep the school in order and most important, taking care of our beautiful children. Ms. Diane also helps to promote literacy through reading incentive programs with Usborne Books. You can see these awesome books at: www.ubah.com/AFF11324. The books go from age birth to adult, they are extremely colorful and bright, fun, and best of all, educational. 100% of all purchases made through this site will benefit Pam Dorr and the HERO Housing Resource Center in Grennsboro, Alabama, which is a non-profit housing organization that helps with those people in need. Claire Oestreich  (Assistant Instructor) Ms. Claire has been with Dyer's Karate for numerous years. She is an awesome person who loves to teach karate. Ms. Claire helps Master Dyer teach the classes, and has taught a few classes on her own. She is a beautiful person to be around. Ms. Claire is a Graduate of Prendie High School. A straight "A" student, who has won many academic awards, and is currently going to Lake Erie College. Ms. Claire will be back here teaching with us during all her breaks. We can not wait. She helps with horses at different places, and they love her there to. Everywhere she goes, she is loved. We are very lucky to have her in our lives. She will be missed by us all.
