MASTER CHRIS DYER
MARTIAL ARTS TRAINING
Master Dyer began his training in 1987 at the age of 13 under the guidance of Grandmaster Young K. Kwon. Master Dyer earned his 1st Dan in 1993 and went on to receive his 2nd Dan later that same year. Master Dyer began training with his current instructor and coach Master Bobby Leach in 1994. With the infuence of Master Leach, who has represented the U.S. on the National Tae Kwon Do Team, Master Dyer has been able to take his Martial Arts training and competition success to a whole new level. In 1997 Master Dyer opened the 1st branch of Dyer's Karate in the FitShoppe located in Aldan, PA. Within 6 months Master Dyer outgrew this location and moved to his current location in Collingdale, PA. Soon this new location would be jam packed with dedicated and motivated students which led to finally expanding the school in the fall of 2002. In 1998 Master Dyer earned his 3rd Dan from Master Leach. Also that same year Master Dyer was honored by being named 1998 PA State Instructor of the Year by the United States Tae Kwon Do Union. In 1999 Master Dyer received his Internationally recognized 1st Dan certification in Tae Kwon Do through the prestigious Kukkiwon in South Korea. In 2000 Master Dyer was selected to travel to China as part of a delegation from the Pennsylvania Tae Kwon Do Association. Master Dyer was certified as a CDT Tactical Master Instructor for both Family Protection and Law Enforcement in 2001. Master Dyer established the 2nd location of Dyer's Karate inside the Springfield Healthplex in 2001. Master Dyer was certified to teach the Know and Go Child Safety Program in 2003. Master Dyer was promoted to the esteemed rank of 4th Dan in 2004.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
Master Dyer graduated Salutatorian from Academy Park High School in 1991 at the top of his graduating class. Master Dyer then enrolled in Drexel University where he majored in Physics and Atmospheric Science. Upon completing an evaluation of his talents and skills in a co-operative education course, Master Dyer realized that he needed to major in something that would benefit his future martial arts students. Thus Master Dyer transferred to Temple University in 1992 majoring in Physical Education with a specialization in Exercise Physiology. Master Dyer graduated Summa Cum Laude from Temple University in 1996, once again at the top of his graduating class.
COMPETITION BACKGROUND
Master Dyer has won over 260 individual awards in local and national competition. Master Dyer continues to compete thus setting an example for his students to follow. Master Dyer is a 14 time PA State Tae Kwon Do Champion. Master Dyer is a 3 time United States Tae Kwon Do Union National Forms Champion. Master Dyer is a 15 time champion of the National Karate Championship Fight for Cancer. Master Dyer has won 16 Grand Championships in his illustrious competition career.
COACHING BACKGROUND
Master Dyer has developed his competition team into the premier team in the area. Over the years Team Dyer has won over 1000 trophies, medals, and awards in competition. Master Dyer has produced numerous State, Regional, and National Champions.
TEACHING BACKGROUND
Master Dyer has been teaching the Martial Arts professionally now for over 11 years. He has instructed men, women and children as young as two in the Arts. He has taught a Rape Prevention Program for both Academy Park and Interboro High Schools. Master Dyer has taught members of the local police force. In 2004 Master Dyer taught a class in Safe Restraint for Southeast Delco School District.

In 2004 Master Dyer was selected to participate with other leaders in children's Martial Arts instruction on Tiger Claw Martial Arts Supplies Advisory Board.
FAMILY LIFE
After asking Ms. Diane Koslosky to spend her life with him, which she happily accepted, things keep getting better. They now share the martial arts experience together. With love, faith and trust, you can go anywhere.
